How Glengarra handles the information you share with us through this website.
Glengarra Sàrl (“Glengarra”, “we”, “us”) is a specialist capital-project advisory and delivery firm registered in Switzerland. This notice explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and what you can expect us to do with it.
What we collect
Information you provide. The enquiry form on our Contact page is the only place where you actively submit personal information to us. When you use it, you provide:
- your name
- your company (optional)
- your email address
- the content of your message
Technical information. As with any website, our hosting infrastructure processes limited technical information in the normal course of serving pages and receiving form submissions. This may include your IP address, browser and device information, and standard request logs. This information is handled by our hosting provider for operational, security and reliability purposes.
We do not use advertising trackers or third-party analytics cookies on this website, and we do not build marketing profiles from your visit.
Why we use it
We primarily use the information you submit to read and respond to your enquiry. We may keep related correspondence so that we have context if you contact us again, or if our discussion leads to work together.
We do not sell your information, and we do not add you to marketing lists on the basis of an enquiry.
Legal basis
Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our services, and, where relevant, on taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. Where Swiss data protection law applies, we process the information on an equivalent basis.
Who processes it
We use a small number of established service providers to operate this website and deliver enquiry emails to us:
- Vercel — website hosting and the function that receives your form submission.
- Resend — the email service that delivers your enquiry to our inbox.
These providers process the information on our behalf and in accordance with their own security and data-protection obligations. Your enquiry may be transmitted or stored outside Switzerland and the European Economic Area in the course of that delivery.
How long we keep it
Enquiry emails are retained in our business email system for as long as they remain relevant to our relationship with you, and are reviewed periodically. If you would like your enquiry deleted sooner, contact us and we will do so, unless we are required to retain it.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you, to correct it if it is inaccurate, to delete it, or to restrict or object to how we use it. To make a request, email us at info@glengarra.com.
If you are in the EEA or Switzerland and you are not satisfied with our response, you may raise the matter with your national data protection authority, or with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner.
Security
Form submissions are transmitted over an encrypted connection and delivered to Glengarra’s business email system. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please do not send confidential project information through the enquiry form — tell us you would like to talk, and we will arrange a more appropriate channel.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice as our website or our service providers change. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
